+1 here, i have extracted and fixed my DSDT and 8 (yes, thats a lot???) SSDT's to load without error or panic.
GFX0 is in the last SSDT (and was the one with the most errors)
can someone with theirs patched for the brightness slider let us know what the patch was exactly?
the RehabMan patches seem to be only for internal HD4/3000 graphics (IGPU).

So now I've got Mavericks running but when I open safari it will start to load a page then panic, got Google Chrome on and I get a panic instantly when I try to open it. Any possible solutions?

The app store comes up and loads things just fine, although my device can't be recognized so not apps for me I guess, but the fact that the app store works is throwing me off.

**Question** I've installed 10.9.4 numerous times successfully. However, I've used Bozzie's kexts and such from 10.9.2 which in the end seems to make it impossible to make 10.9.4 work perfectly. Also, I can't get the 10.9.4 installer to boot without a general protection error which I can't find any info on it. Is there a trick to getting the 10.9.4 installer to go?
With Bozzie's files I just had to delete the Nvidia kexts and boot via -v maxmem=2048.

you don't need to delete the nvda files. just boot with nv_disable=1
And after install before you install the retail (web) nvidia drivers boot again same way. Search for nvda4all from hackintoshosx.com

I also recommend Clover. Works flawlessly over Chameleon for now until Chameleon catches up a bit more. Clover will also auto patch on the fly your msr 0xe2 lock.

There are a couple of dsdt patches, like patch for keys brightness, display brightness, battery, and I think you can have a patch for wifi/bluetooth maybe and other things.
From rehabman you can get only the patch for battery, is basically the same as for g75 but with a slight mod.
Ive proposed the patch myself for rehabman to include it.

For the rest of the patches you can look around and see what others have done so far, you can also get other patches by ELmyDinEsh from OSXLatitude forum for brightness and fn keys.

I tried a clover installation using Tonymac's universal instructions but the installer doesn't get very far at all. I've been looking for a G750jx-RB71 config.plist but can't find one... I have one for the DB71 but I need to change the efi string and don't know how to find the correct one. Does anyone have some suggestions on how to get 10.9.4 + clover going?
However, until I get clover working, I get this error from time to time when booting with Unibeast USB stick.

This doesn't happn every time and I can usually just switch the port that the usb is in a try again and it boots. Again, suggestions?

I use Clover Configurator, a GUI application for Clover. Modify your Mac Model to iMAc14,2 SMBIOS section. I can't see the rest of the message just slightly above. It usually will tell you the complaining kexts. If that an immediate panic then it could be the MSR 0xe2 lock possibly but if your using clover it patches it on the fly so that should not panic for that reason.
